It is about WE not Me

Saw this video and loved it as Francis Chan  is talking about God’s purposes in saving us.  God’s purpose in saving me was to wed me to you; and “you and me” into  an “us”,  the group of believers known as Christians; a living temple.

I Peter 2:9-10

⁹But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. ¹⁰Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

Once I lived alone – selfish to the core, then he saved me and now I have to live as a “chosen people”.  We are living stones in the wall of the temple.  We all have a role and our obligation is to be part of the whole.
